Big Bang

I thought we had been doing good in the hair dept. Well, Monday afternoon I noticed that Noelle's hair was different and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. Then it hit me that she had bangs!!!! She had given herself a new do'. The good news is that 1. she had already cleaned up the mess and 2. our hair stylist got us in as soon as she could. It is a new look and I will have to learn how to do bangs now. And in the words of Noelle, "At least it will grow out." :)

Can we keep it Daddy?

I just found these picutes of Noelle on my camera. We were in Idaho at Shawn's sister's and their cat just had kittens. Noelle was in love with them. She is our animal lover. She kept going back to hold the kittens. Can't we just keep one of them Dad? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?

Field Day!!

Holly had field day on Wednesday. She was really excited because she was chosen to run in the relay. Last week she finished 2nd out of her class (girls) and was on the relay team! Her team finished last but they ran hard. She was very sore that night and the next day. I told her that is how I feel when I get home from the gym all the time!! Nice running Holly!

Happy Birthday Dad!!

This is a little late (as is everything lately), but I just wanted to wish my dad a very happy birthday!! He is the best dad and grandpa you could ask for! Our only complaint is that we don't get to see him enough!! We love you Dad!!

Disneyworld Pictures!!!

It has taken a bit, but I have found some time to post our Disneyworld pictures! With 3 cameras, we ended up with around 1,000 pictures and I have had a hard time deciding on just a few.


We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. The lobby was amazing! Holly and Noelle loved having bunkbeds and Grandma and Grandpa were just a few doors down.


We spent 7 days riding, watching and eating everything Disney. We averaged 12-13 miles a day!!! We all loved Epcot. We went to every "country" and collected charms and had fun playing in the different gardens. Noelle was able to get on a few "big" rides with the help of her shoes. She was just a smidge too short to ride anything so we helped her out a few inches ;)


We trekked thru the jungles and climbed Mt. Everest at the Animal Kingdom. We also survived the river rapids wrapped in our rain ponchos!


Holly braved Space Mountain for the first time! And of course, she loved Big Thunder Mountain!! Shawn and Holly spent half a day running around Magic Kingdom by themselves while Noelle was playing mermaid in the hotel pool.


It was a great trip and we still didn't see everything! We can't wait to go back!!!

Biker Chick

Noelle learned how to ride her bike on Tuesday!! She just took off and started riding! I had my hand on the back of the bike for about 5 steps and even then she didn't need an ounce of help. Way to go Welly!

We will miss you Doug!!

Unexpectedly, Shawn's dad, Doug, died today. We are all very saddened at his passing. We have the great comfort of family and the knowledge of the gospel. Doug can now be with Mardene (Shawn's mom), who died just a year ago. We will all miss your laugh and can-do attitude. You were a terrific grandpa and all the kids will miss you!
