Happy Earth Day!!!

Just a few years ago, (ok, 18 to be exact) we "celebrated" a historic day, Earth Day. This day was to remember what we can do to make our earth a better place. Or if you were in high school, it was a great day to ditch and hang out with friends! To commemorate this great event (the latter), go and get a drink of choice (diet coke [with or without lime], diet pepsi etc...) and take a moment or more to celebrate your own Earth Day. Gotta motor! :)

Surrrrprize, Surrrrprize!!

We weren't sure that we would be able to pull it off again, but we did!! We surprised Holly and Noelle for Spring Break and went to DisneyWorld! They thought we were going to Houston to see my parents and when we got to the airport my parents said that we were going to WDW! They had no idea and thought we were kidding. Ok, they were not excited to get on another plane (neither were we) but I think they were curious to see if it was a joke or not. It wasn't. Holly didn't think we could trick her again like we did last year. I had just arrived home from Denver and told her that my luggage was lost and we had to go and get it....in LA! My parents met us there and shocked Holly with the news that we were going to Disneyland. At least Noelle was awake for the surprise this time!!

And the Winner is......

After months and months of pratice the results are in!!! Holly had her big dance competion at the Delta Center (I really dislike the new name and it is way too long) today. We all had to get up way too early for a Saturday and get ready. I had to curl Holly's hair in ringlets, apply makeup and we had to be downtown by 9:15 AM in the middle of Conference traffic!!! We made it and found a good parking space! YEA! The girls did great and they worked really hard. Everything worked out in the end and her team took home FIRST PLACE!!! They were all excited, as they should have been! Great job Holly! And she wasn't even nervous!! Such the professional!! The video file was too big to post, so here is the best picture. Holly is the one with her head turned! Anyone need a good orphan?
