Catch Up!!

Ok, I am very poor excuse for a blogger these days. Here is our spring in a nutshell!
Noelle tried indoor soccer and loved it. It is a smaller field and they do a lot of running!! She had a lot of fun and scored a few goals too!

Between soccer games, Noelle managed to find some time for school. She loved Kids Village and the fun classes they offered. Kitchen was her favorite class and she NEVER forgot something for show and tell! She even decided to wear the cap and gown for graduation AND she sang the songs for the program! Now that is progress!

We also had the opportunity to see "Wicked" when it was in town. We went to dinner and then to the show. Holly was the veteran, as she had seen it in Chicago and thought Glinda was funnier in this show. Noelle was excited but, passed out just before the intermission. She is not a night owl. We had a great time!

Paradise!!!!

Ok, we had the best time in Hawaii! We went to Kauai for a week and played!! We stayed at the Sheraton in Poipu on the south side of the island. It was so beautiful!!! We had a good flight and then had to wait in Honolulu for 3 hours to catch our connecting flight to Kauai. We finally made it, only to find out that our luggage didn't make the connection :( We drove to the hotel and Shawn went to check in. I was tired and waited in the car. As I was waiting, I saw someone walk by. It looked like my friend, Shauna, but that is way too random. It was Shauna! We were staying at the same hotel! We went to dinner later that week and then out for some DELICIOUS ice cream! We spent the rest of the week on a helicopter tour, a cruise up the Na'pali coast, snorkeling, ziplining, tubing in the irrigation canals, general sightseeing and whale watching. It was a great vacation!!! The whole island is so lush and green. Our hotel was amazing and we had an ocean front view! It was so fun to hang out and not worry about anything! It took a lot of make it all work, but it was so worth it! My mom came in to watch the girls so that we could go. We couldn't have done it without her! Thanks Mom!!! We had a great time and cannot wait to get back there!!

Valentine's Day

Shawn and I started decorating the girls' rooms for Valentine's day a few years ago. Now we have to keep the tradition going! Holly said Valentine's Day is her favorite because she can't wait to see what we'll do. No pressure. This year we did balloons and chocolate candies on the floor and X's and O's all over their walls. And in a weak moment, Shawn got heart confetti and sprinkled it on the floor (which he regretted later). It was a good day and we had dinner at Chili's. My anniversary/Valentine's DAy/birthday etc...present is the next post!

St. Shawn

As I am trying to play catch up on my blog, I have been thinking about what we have done over the last few months. Well, in January, Shawn and I celebrated our 10th anniversary! He gets the saint award for living with the stressed crazed wife. I am pretty sure he gets an automatic place in heaven! Plus, he gave me a beautiful necklace (see picture) and we went to Hawaii (see future post)!!

New Year's Eve

We spent New Year's Eve in Beaver, UT at the LeMone's cabin. We had a blast. The cabin is next to an abandoned ski resort. We went sledding down the ski runs and on the roads around the cabin. We also had great food and lots of fun!

Christmas (in March)

We had a great Christmas! My parents came out and spent ten days with us. We had a fun time! We did the Polar Express, saw the lights at Temple Square, finished shopping and hung out and played the Wii. Grandma and Grandpa also helped in the construction of the gingerbread houses. Christmas day was spent playing the Wii and seeing how fat, I mean fit, we were on the Wii Fit!

Christmas Dance Recital

Hi- I am still here. I just haven't been into my blog for a bit. The next few entires will be catch up.
Here are the pics of the girls' Christmas recital. This was Noelle's final recital. She likes the class part but not the recital.
